I was born in 1989 in Sarajevo, in the former SFR Yugoslavia. My early life was shaped by displacement — my family and I fled the Yugoslav war and found refuge in Germany, where I spent much of my childhood before eventually returning to Bosnia.
These early experiences and contrasting worlds shaped my perspective. They instilled in me a deep sensitivity to identity and belonging, and a resilience that continues to inform and inspire my work to this day.
I am a graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, where I trained as an actor.
In recent years, I have been working as a writer and director., and my creative work often explores the tension between personal freedom and societal constraints.
Over time, I’ve built a body of work that moves between film, theatre, and storytelling. Whether I’m in front of the camera or behind it, I’m drawn to stories that are emotionally grounded and socially conscious.
